━━ OUR STORY

We didn't start a travel agency. We just couldn't stop going back

Roxy first traveled to Asia at 11, around the same time she entered the German national taekwondo system.

Twenty years later, she's still going back.

Between 2023 and 2026, Roxy spent three years traveling across Asia and Oceania. The first eighteen months completely alone, the next eighteen with her partner Stephan. Not a sabbatical. Not content creation. A deliberate decision to see what the region had actually become: post-pandemic, post-inflation, post the version that travel websites still describe as if nothing has changed since 2015.

Because most of them haven't updated since then.

Why Roxys Travel Plan exists

━━ OUR PURPOSE

There's a specific frustration that pushed us to build this. You hire a travel agency. They send you a route. You land, and you realize the "hidden gem" restaurant closed two years ago, the beach has a construction site on one end, the guide speaks three words of English, and nobody told you the internal flight takes six hours with a stopover, not three.

That's not a rare experience. It's standard.

The information most agencies work from is old. The routes most operators sell are the same five itineraries they've been moving since before COVID rewired the entire region. Private travel costs twice as much as group travel for no clear reason, and when something goes wrong mid-trip, you're handed a local number and told good luck.

We had been on those trips. We had also been on the real ones, the ones you can only plan if you've personally walked the route, eaten at the restaurant, slept in the hotel, and called the boat captain at 6am to ask if the weather holds. We decided to offer the second kind.

━━ OUR EXPERIENCES

What "personally tested" actually means

Every destination we offer is one we have traveled ourselves, recently. When Roxy recommends the guesthouse in Port Barton, it's because she stayed there. When we tell you Balabac requires three days minimum and here is why, it's because Stephan spent four nights sleeping on the beach learning what works and what doesn't. When we say a particular guide in Uzbekistan is worth the upgrade, it's because we know him by name and have watched him work.

We also know what to tell you not to do. That matters more than the highlights.

We work with local partners we have chosen personally in every country we cover. Not partners from a supplier directory. People we have met, traveled with, and trust to represent our name when we are not in the room. That network took three years to build and it is, genuinely, the most valuable thing we offer.

━━ OUR VALUES

What we are NOT

We are not a platform. We are not a catalogue of itineraries assembled from DMC brochures. We are not six people in a call centre managing your trip through a CRM system.

You deal with Roxy or Stephan from your first message to your last day on the road. If something goes wrong at 11pm on a Tuesday in Thailand, you have our number and we answer it. That is not a marketing promise. It is how the business actually runs.

We are a boutique agency based in Eschlkam, Bavaria. We cover Asia and Oceania. We do not cover everywhere. We do what we know.

━━ OUR BELIEFS

One thing we believe

Your vacation is two, maybe three weeks. Most people get between three and five weeks of real freedom per year. Spending any of it on a badly designed trip, poor routing, outdated hotel, a guide who doesn't fit, is not a small thing. It is an irreplaceable thing wasted.

We take that seriously. Every itinerary we send is one we would take ourselves.

★ No commitment. We'll talk destinations, timing, what kind of travel suits you, and whether we're the right fit.
