━━ THE JOURNEY
Why this country left a lasting impression on us

The Philippines is vibrant and endlessly diverse. One moment you are on a pristine white sand beach, the next you are hopping from island to island by boat, discovering hidden lagoons, towering limestone cliffs and secret coves with crystal clear waters.
The water is unforgettable, turquoise, calm and perfect for snorkeling, diving or floating under the sun. Colorful coral reefs, playful fish and gentle sea turtles make every swim magical. Island hopping reveals dramatic landscapes, waterfalls tucked into the jungle and vibrant villages.
What stays with you most are the people, friendly, warm and endlessly welcoming. Locals share their islands with pride, guiding you to hidden gems and welcoming you into their communities.
From quiet beaches to lively markets, kayaking through limestone karsts, diving with sharks, surfing rolling waves, and watching golden sunsets, the Philippines is not just a destination. It fills your soul, leaves you breathless, and calls you back long after you leave.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT:
International flights can be arranged upon request, subject to availability. A 10% service fee will apply to cover handling and booking costs.
VISA:
Visa requirements differ depending on your nationality. We strongly recommend verifying the latest entry regulations with official immigration authorities before you travel.
CASH/ATM:
ATMs are available in main towns in Palawan such as Puerto Princesa, El Nido, and Coron, and most accept international cards including Visa and Mastercard. However, in smaller villages, island destinations, and remote areas such as Port Barton, Balabac, or during island hopping trips, ATMs can be limited or unreliable.
It is highly recommended to carry enough cash when traveling to these areas, as cash withdrawals are not always possible. Philippine pesos (PHP) are preferred for most transactions, especially in local restaurants, small hotels, boat tours, and island communities. For better security and reliability, always use ATMs located at major banks or inside shopping centers when available.
GUIDED TOURS:
Guided tours are typically conducted on a shared basis, meaning other travelers may join the same experience. This allows you to meet other guests and share the activity as part of a small group.
If a private tour is included or available as an upgrade, it will be clearly indicated in your itinerary or can be arranged upon request (subject to availability and additional cost).
CANCELLATION, REFUNDS & TRAVEL INSURANCE:
Once bookings have been confirmed, all cancellations will follow the terms and conditions of our local suppliers and service providers. Please note that many partners require advance payments to secure availability, and their refund policies may vary. We will always do our best to recover any refundable amounts wherever possible, but some services may be fully non-refundable depending on supplier conditions.
We strongly recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and unexpected changes. This ensures peace of mind and financial protection in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
TRAVEL GUIDE BOOK
You’ll receive a comprehensive Travel Guide Book in PDF format with all your confirmed bookings, key travel information, and a personalized day-by-day itinerary designed specifically for you.
The guide also includes practical tips to help your trip go smoothly, along with must-see locations, local eateries, hand-picked café recommendations we have personally tried and loved.
We will even connect you with reliable local taxi drivers, guides, and companies we have met during our own travels and fully trust.
WEATHER
The best time to visit the Philippines depends on the season, as the country has a tropical climate with distinct dry and wet periods. Palawan, including destinations such as Puerto Princesa, Port Barton, El Nido, and Balabac, is best visited during the dry season from December to April, when the weather is generally sunny, humidity is lower, and sea conditions are ideal for island hopping, snorkeling, and beach experiences.
During these months, Palawan enjoys warm temperatures and calm waters, making it perfect for exploring lagoons, hidden beaches, and remote islands. This period offers the most reliable weather for boat tours and outdoor activities, with clear skies and excellent visibility both above and below the water.
The rainy season typically runs from May to October. While rainfall can be heavier during this time, it often comes in short tropical showers rather than constant rain. The landscape remains lush and vibrant, and there are fewer visitors. Travel during this season may require more flexibility, especially for boat excursions, which depend on sea conditions.
INTERNET & SIM CARDS
SIM cards are available almost everywhere, including directly at the airport upon arrival.
If you prefer not to buy a physical SIM card, I recommend using an eSIM from Airalo you’ll find more detailed information about this option in my Travel Guide Book including a 10% discount on their services.
