WHY WE LOVE BALI

Bali is often seen as a busy, touristy island, and while that’s partly true, spending 4 months there allowed us to discover a completely different side of it. Beyond the crowds, we found hidden temples tucked in the jungle, quiet beaches where time slows down, and small villages where the island’s spirit still feels pure and untouched.

We’ve come to love the rhythm of everyday life in Bali, from early morning offerings to the scent of incense drifting through the air. Culture flows naturally through every moment, and that’s what makes this island feel truly magical to us.

WEATHER

The best time to visit Indonesia is between April and November, which is the dry season across most of the country. During these months, you can expect plenty of sunshine, warm temperatures (usually between 25 and 32°C), and lower humidity perfect for outdoor activities like hiking, snorkeling, and exploring cultural sites.

Rainfall is minimal, making travel and island hopping easier and more enjoyable. Evenings can sometimes be a bit cooler, especially in mountainous areas.

SIM cards are available almost everywhere, including directly at the airport upon arrival.

If you prefer not to buy a physical SIM card, I recommend using an eSIM from Airalo you’ll find more detailed information about this option in my Travel Guide Book including a 10% discount on their services.
