Visa requirements differ depending on your nationality. We strongly recommend verifying the latest entry regulations with official immigration authorities before you travel.

  • CASH/ATM:

Vietnam remains largely a cash-based destination, especially in local restaurants, markets, and small shops. While credit cards are accepted in larger hotels and some tourist areas, cash is still preferred for everyday transactions. ATMs are widely available in cities and towns, making it easy to withdraw local currency when needed.

  • GUIDED TOURS:

Guided tours are typically conducted on a shared basis, meaning other travelers may join the same experience. This allows you to meet other guests and share the activity as part of a small group.

If a private tour is included or available as an upgrade, it will be clearly indicated in your itinerary or can be arranged upon request (subject to availability and additional cost).

  • CANCELLATION, REFUNDS & TRAVEL INSURANCE:

Once bookings have been confirmed, all cancellations will follow the terms and conditions of our local suppliers and service providers. Please note that many partners require advance payments to secure availability, and their refund policies may vary. We will always do our best to recover any refundable amounts wherever possible, but some services may be fully non-refundable depending on supplier conditions.

We strongly recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and unexpected changes. This ensures peace of mind and financial protection in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

Far from the familiar paths of Halong, Lan Ha Bay reveals itself as one of Vietnam’s most exquisite secrets. A landscape of quiet grandeur, where jungle-clad limestone pillars rise from emerald waters, and time seems to dissolve into the mist. This is not simply a destination – it is a rare, refined escape. Reserved for those who seek elegance in every detail, a journey through Lan Ha Bay offers more than scenic beauty. It is a curated voyage into silence, space, and sensation. Glide through hidden lagoons in a kayak, cycle through an untouched valley on Cat Ba Island, and witness life in remote floating villages where the pace of the sea sets the rhythm of the day.

Two vessels accompany this extraordinary experience: Ginger, with her contemporary interpretation of Vietnamese heritage and understated sophistication, and Ylang, a sanctuary of well-being infused with poetic Indochinese design. Both offer just a handful of spacious suites, private balconies, fine cuisine, and personalized service that anticipates every desire.

Whether you join for one night or two, each moment is orchestrated to awaken the senses – from sunrise Tai Chi to candlelit dinners beneath a sky of stars, from quiet spa rituals to the gentle hush of the bay at dusk.

A world apart – intimate, atmospheric, unforgettable.

Lan Ha Bay is a place where luxury is not loud, but deeply felt

You’ll receive a comprehensive Travel Guide Book in PDF format with all your confirmed bookings, key travel information, and a personalized day-by-day itinerary designed specifically for you.

The guide also includes practical tips to help your trip go smoothly, along with must-see locations, local eateries, hand-picked café recommendations we have personally tried and loved.

We will even connect you with reliable local taxi drivers, guides, and companies we have met during our own travels and fully trust.

The best time to visit North Vietnam is from October to April, when the weather is generally cooler, drier, and more comfortable. During these months, skies are clearer, making it ideal for sightseeing, cruises, and outdoor adventures.

From October to December, you’ll enjoy crisp air and beautiful autumn colors in the mountains, while March to April brings mild temperatures and blooming landscapes — perfect for photography and trekking.

The summer months (May to September) are hot, humid, and rainy, especially in July and August when tropical downpours are common. However, the countryside is lush and green, which can be appealing for travelers who don’t mind occasional rain.

SIM cards are available almost everywhere, including directly at the airport upon arrival.

If you prefer not to buy a physical SIM card, I recommend using an eSIM from Airalo you’ll find more detailed information about this option in my Travel Guide Book including a 10% discount on their services.
