━━ THE JOURNEY
Why this country left a lasting impression on us

We love Hawaii because it’s one of those rare places where everything just feels right. From the moment we arrive, there’s a sense of calm that takes over—like we can finally slow down and truly be present. It’s not just a destination for us, it’s a feeling we keep coming back for.
What makes Hawaii so special to us is how incredibly diverse it is. Each island has its own personality and natural beauty. One day we can be exploring dramatic cliffs and wild coastlines, and the next we’re surrounded by lush rainforests, waterfalls, or calm, golden beaches. No two islands feel the same, and that sense of discovery is something we absolutely love—it never gets repetitive, no matter how many times we visit.
We also really connect with the spirit of aloha. There’s a genuine warmth and kindness that makes us feel welcome every time. It’s not just about being on holiday, it’s about feeling connected to the place and the people in a meaningful way.
Hawaii also reminds us to slow down and enjoy the simple things. Whether it’s watching the sunset together, listening to the ocean, or just taking time to breathe, it helps us reset and appreciate what matters most.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
INTERNATIONAL FLIGHT:
International flights can be arranged upon request, subject to availability. A 10% service fee will apply to cover handling and booking costs.
VISA:
Visa requirements differ depending on your nationality. We strongly recommend verifying the latest entry regulations with official immigration authorities before you travel.
CASH/ATM:
ATMs are widely available across Hawaii, especially in main towns and tourist areas such as Honolulu (Oahu), Lahaina and Kahului (Maui), Kona and Hilo (Big Island), and Lihue (Kauai). Most ATMs accept international cards, including Visa and Mastercard, and are generally reliable.
However, on more remote parts of the islands—such as rural areas, smaller towns, or when exploring nature-heavy regions like parts of the Big Island or Kauai—ATM access can be more limited. During activities like road trips, hiking excursions, or visiting less-developed areas, it’s a good idea to have some cash on hand.
The US dollar (USD) is used throughout Hawaii, and while cards are widely accepted in hotels, restaurants, and larger businesses, smaller vendors, local food trucks, farmers’ markets, and certain tour operators may prefer or only accept cash.
For convenience and security, it’s best to withdraw money from ATMs located at major banks, airports, or inside shopping centers.
GUIDED TOURS:
Guided tours are typically conducted on a shared basis, meaning other travelers may join the same experience. This allows you to meet other guests and share the activity as part of a small group.
If a private tour is included or available as an upgrade, it will be clearly indicated in your itinerary or can be arranged upon request (subject to availability and additional cost).
CANCELLATION, REFUNDS & TRAVEL INSURANCE:
Once bookings have been confirmed, all cancellations will follow the terms and conditions of our local suppliers and service providers. Please note that many partners require advance payments to secure availability, and their refund policies may vary. We will always do our best to recover any refundable amounts wherever possible, but some services may be fully non-refundable depending on supplier conditions.
We strongly recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and unexpected changes. This ensures peace of mind and financial protection in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
TRAVEL GUIDE BOOK
You’ll receive a comprehensive Travel Guide Book in PDF format with all your confirmed bookings, key travel information, and a personalized day-by-day itinerary designed specifically for you.
The guide also includes practical tips to help your trip go smoothly, along with must-see locations, local eateries, hand-picked café recommendations we have personally tried and loved.
We will even connect you with reliable local taxi drivers, guides, and companies we have met during our own travels and fully trust.
WEATHER
Hawaii enjoys a warm, tropical climate year-round, making it an excellent destination at almost any time of year. Temperatures are generally consistent, ranging between 24°C and 30°C, with cooler evenings and slightly lower temperatures at higher elevations.
The islands have two main seasons: a dry season (April to October) and a wetter season (November to March). However, even during the wetter months, rain showers are often brief and localized, typically affecting one side of an island while the other remains sunny. This means it is still very possible to enjoy great weather every day.
One of the unique aspects of Hawaii is how varied the climate can be within a single island. Windward (northeastern) sides tend to be greener and receive more rainfall, while leeward (southwestern) sides are usually drier and sunnier, offering a wide range of landscapes and microclimates to explore.
Best Time to Travel
The best time to visit Hawaii is generally during the shoulder seasons: April to June and September to October. During these periods, you can expect pleasant weather, fewer crowds, and more attractive pricing.
Summer (June to August): Warm, sunny, and ideal for beach activities, though it is also a busier travel period.
Winter (December to March): Slightly cooler with occasional rain, but also the best time to experience dramatic ocean swells on the north shores, perfect for surf enthusiasts and whale watching.
Overall, Hawaii is a year-round destination. The ideal time to travel depends on your priorities, whether you’re looking for the best weather, fewer crowds, or specific experiences, but whenever you visit, you can expect a beautiful and rewarding experience.
INTERNET & SIM CARDS
SIM cards are available almost everywhere, including directly at the airport upon arrival.
If you prefer not to buy a physical SIM card, I recommend using an eSIM from Airalo you’ll find more detailed information about this option in my Travel Guide Book including a 10% discount on their services.
