Indonesia is, without a doubt, my one of my favorite country. I’m fascinated by the diversity between the islands and touched every time by the warmth of the people. The underwater world is simply breathtaking, with vibrant reefs and dreamlike beaches waiting to be explored.
The mountain village of Wae Rebo feels like stepping into another world, quiet, remote, and deeply rooted in tradition. And in Bali, culture flows through everyday life. That’s what makes it feel truly magical to me.

The Essence of Indonesia – 3 Islands, 21 Days, Unforgettable Experiences
This private round trip brings together the most fascinating sides of Indonesia: lush jungles in Sumatra, breathtaking sailing adventures through the Komodo Islands, and cultural highlights on Bali. Whether it’s wildlife, snorkeling, sailing, relaxing on the beach, or connecting with local traditions.
Step into the unknown and let the rhythm of the land slow you down. Ease into your journey with either a local cooking class, natural soap making, or a cave visit with beach BBQ, before diving into the untamed jungle that awaits.
Venture deep into the rainforest on a three-day guided trek. With luck, cross paths with wild orangutans and other hidden wildlife in their natural habitat. Each day, journey deeper into the lush jungle, following winding trails and crossing rivers.
In the evenings, unwind in rustic riverside camps surrounded by the sounds of nature, share stories over hearty meals, then fall asleep to the rhythm of the rainforest under the stars.
The last day, trade your hiking boots for a raft and glide downriver, the forest whispering its secrets as you return to town.

End your journey at the iconic Pink Beach, where soft rose-tinted sands blend into crystalline waters, an enchanting spot to relax and reflect on the magic of the sea.

Spend the day snorkeling in Komodo National park between vibrant coral reefs. If you prefer, swap snorkeling for a diving experience to explore the underwater world.
Begin your adventure in the cultural heart, of Flores, where a guide will lead you to a traditional village in the green mountains.

TRAVEL FLEXIBILITY NOTICE
Please note: the number of days in each location may vary slightly (±1–2 days) depending on your travel dates, sailing tour availability. All tours are organized and begin on specific start dates (for example, sailing in Flores). The flow of the itinerary and activities will remain the same, but every trip is customized to fit you best.
TRAVEL GUIDE BOOK
You will receive a detailed travel guide in PDF format containing all your bookings, important information, and a personalized day-by-day itinerary tailored just for you. The guide includes valuable tips and tricks to make your trip smoother and more enjoyable. Additionally, you’ll find personal recommendations for cafés and restaurants that I visited myself during my travels. You will also meet trusted local taxi drivers, guides or company whom I have personally met and can highly recommend.
PACKING
Pack light but smart! Even though you can do laundry during the trip (for example in Flores), some essentials should be with you: a lightweight rain jacket, a thin warm layer for cooler evenings, and sturdy shoes suitable for walking. It’s also a good idea to bring a waterproof bag or dry bag to protect your belongings during boat trips trekking. It’s also a good idea to pack a lightweight scarf or a pair of long, light pants. In some areas like temples shoulders and knees should always be covered as a sign of respect.
DAY BAG
For your stays in Sumatra, Wae Rebo, and during island glamping, you will leave your main luggage safely stored at an office or your accommodation. You only need to bring what you require for one or two nights. Therefore, I recommend having a backpack or small bag with enough space for these essentials to make your trip easier and more comfortable.
WEATHER
The best time to visit Indonesia is between May and November, which is the dry season across most of the country. During these months, you can expect plenty of sunshine, warm temperatures (usually between 25 and 32°C), and lower humidity perfect for outdoor activities like hiking, snorkeling, and exploring cultural sites. Rainfall is minimal, making travel and island hopping easier and more enjoyable. Evenings can sometimes be a bit cooler, especially in mountainous areas.
CASH/ATM
Indonesia is a country where local restaurants and markets mostly accept cash payments. Of course, ATMs are widely available almost everywhere, so you’ll have easy access to withdraw money when needed.
INTERNET & SIM CARDS
SIM cards are available almost everywhere, including directly at the airport upon arrival. If you prefer not to buy a physical SIM card, I recommend using an eSIM you’ll find more detailed information about this option in my travel guide.
SUNSCREEN & DRESS CODE
Bring plenty of sunscreen, especially waterproof varieties for the sailing trip.
